About the Chamber
Why BRICS, why now
BRICS markets are where a growing share of the world's business is being done.
BRICS nations are home to 45% of the world's population and produce around $30 trillion of annual output, more than the G7 by purchasing power. India, the bloc's fastest-growing major economy, is growing at 6% a year, and the New Development Bank gives the bloc its own development-finance institution.
The trade corridor to Ghana is already open. South Africa, Egypt, and Ethiopia are full members and Nigeria is a partner country, which puts Ghanaian businesses within reach of established African trade and investment routes into these markets.
The Chamber's role is practical: connecting Ghanaian businesses to buyers, partners, and investors across BRICS economies, through trade facilitation, investment promotion, and programming across eight focus areas.
